Sometimes things just feel right…

And when they feel right, sometimes they actually turn out to be so.

When lockdown unexpectedly paused Felix SImpson’s usual work – busily busking and performing at festivals, weddings and venues in Norfolk and Suffolk – he felt the time was right to use the imposed free time to work on his original material.

With a decent musical pedigree in the family (Will, Edd and Charlie Simpson are cousins of Felix), he developed a catchy alt-pop sound, combined with his more powerful soulful vocals.

Experimenting with long-time musical collaborators, Felix settled on a 4-piece line up, adding drums (Joe Greenacre), bass (Ben Parker) and lead guitar/keys (James Harpham), with him playing his preferred acoustic guitar.

The first show was a support slot on Charlie Simpson’s sold out show at O2 Forum Kentish Town. The band’s performance left music industry professionals trying to remember a similar crowd reaction to an unknown support act.

They couldn’t.

With a first single release (Loving You Ain’t Easy, 10.12.21), first headline show in February, and more shows and tours planned for 2022, this is an act that will go from the small stages of wedding venues and pavements to large capacity venues faster than you can say “Unsigned? Really?”
